Chlamydia Pneumoniae Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR Method) P087-587H
Chlamydia pneumoniae (c, pneumoniae, Cp) is a recently recognized human respiratory pathogen with a unique biphasic life cycle characterized by an obligate intracellular (replicative) and an extracellular (intectious form of the organism. C. pneumoniae is widely distributed and, via the respiratory route, infects the majority of the world's population. The majority (70%) of acute human c, pneumoniae respiratory tract infections are asymptomatic or only mildly symptomatic but a minority (30%) cause more severe respiratory ilinesses including community-acquired pneumonia, bronchitis and a variety of upper airway illnesses.
The pathogenesis of C. pneumoniae infection is still unclear. in the animal experiments of non-human mammals such as mice and monkeys, it was found that most of them were asymptomatic in the early stage of infection and most of them developed lung lesions within 2 months, mainly manifested as interstitial pneumonia, with local multinucleated cell infiltration in the early stage and macrophage and lymphocyte infiltration later. The infection tends to become chronic and is associated with many chronic infections such as coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, sarcoidosis and reactive arthritis.
The laboratory tests of c. pneumoniae include 1) bacteriological detection; 2) immunological detection; 3) nucleic acid amplification test, including qPCR, TMA, etc. The kit developed by our company is suitable for the auxiliary diagnosis of Chlamydia pneumoniae.
