Group B Streptococcus (GBS) PCR Detection Kit
According to statistics, 10%~30% of pregnant women will infect group B streptococcus, 40%~70% of which will transmit GBS to the next generation during the birth process. Group B streptococcal infection can cause neonatal sepsis, meningitis, and pneumonia, and the mortality rate is very high. It is currently one of the most important pathogens causing neonatal infections.
The kit is used for in vitro qualitative detection of group B streptococci in genital secretions and rectal secretions samples. It is suitable for pregnant women who are 34 to 37 weeks of gestation. The test result of this kit is for the auxiliary diagnosis of GBS. It is for clinical reference only and cannot be used as the basis for diagnosis or exclusion of cases.
